Poland - Warsaw

During various conflicts and occupations, the Field Cathedral has been used as an Russian Orthodox Church, a prison, an orphanage and a depot for German soldiers during WW1.  After its destruction during WWII, it was again rebuilt to its former glory based on the original plans from the 1600s.
